Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Senior Structural Designer to lead the development and coordination of structural construction documents for diverse projects. You will act as a technical resource, mentoring designers and drafters while ensuring high-quality design deliverables using Autodesk Revit in collaboration with engineers and architects.

You will lead Revit standards, review drawings, and support BIM and production process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting or related field is required.
• 10+ years structural design and drafting experience.
• 7+ years advanced Autodesk Revit experience in structural building design.
• Experience leading design production teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering concepts, building codes, and construction practices.
• Experience delivering complete construction document packages for commercial/industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical mentorship, training, and guidance to junior designers and drafting staff.
• Establish Revit standards, workflows, and best practices across the structural department.
• Review drawings and models for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Lead development of structural models and construction documents using Autodesk Revit.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to meet project objectives.
