Job summary

BSI Engineering in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Structural Designer with strong Revit and BIM expertise to lead workflow development and model delivery. You will collaborate with civil/structural teams to ensure design packages meet client and industry standards.

The role emphasizes Dynamo/Python automation, mentoring BIM users, and maintaining documentation standards to support high‑quality project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Associate/tech degree or higher; Revit/Navisworks proficiency required.
• Experience generating BIM project drawings and models.
• Strong communication and decision‑making skills.
• 5+ years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM workflow and standards in Revit within the department and in coordination with external stakeholders.
• Support project start‑up workflow and strategies for quality document delivery.
• Oversee BIM/Revit usage, analyze and resolve user issues and provide training.
• Develop content libraries, templates, and conduct model audits to ensure standards.
• Manage software/tools implementation for BIM and evaluate new BIM technologies.
