The role emphasizes building BIM capabilities, developing execution plans, and ensuring accuracy of deliverables. Strong leadership and communication are essential to guide junior staff and coordinate with engineers across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in BIM/design, preferably in transportation projects.
• Ability to organize, delegate, and oversee a team of designers and draftsmen.
• Understanding of scope between engineering disciplines and project support groups.
• Advanced understanding of BIM and strong Revit experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM capabilities within the team and recruit when needed.
• Coordinate infrastructure 3D models across disciplines (transit, mechanical, electrical, civil).
• Design pavement sections and construction details.
• Prepare drawings showing interfacing of systems and underground utilities.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and lifecycle asset management plans.
