Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to support our growing MEPF engineering teams. The role emphasizes strong Revit expertise, BIM standards, and cross-office coordination to improve project efficiency.

You will mentor BIM staff, troubleshoot complex models, and help implement consistent BIM practices across the organization. Opportunities exist to work remotely within the U.S. and travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional BIM and Revit experience in the AEC industry.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, especially within MEP engineering.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary Revit models.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Forma and cloud-based collaboration workflows.
• Understanding BIM standards, model organization, worksets, view templates, and shared parameters.
• Experience troubleshooting Revit models and supporting engineering design teams.
• Familiarity with construction documentation, drawing production, and project deliverables.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while collaborating with BIM staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced BIM and Revit support to MEPF engineering and design teams across multiple projects.
• Assist BIM Coordinators with project setup, model organization, templates, and BEPs.
• Troubleshoot complex Revit modeling issues, linked models, worksharing conflicts, and coordination challenges.
• Support project deliverables, drawing production, model publishing, and quality control.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of BIM standards, templates, and project content.
• Ensure project models follow established BIM standards and naming conventions.
• Assist with Revit family development, modification, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate cloud model publishing and data management across teams.
