Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our Grid & Power Quality Solutions team. You will coordinate BIM workflows, maintain models, and support digitalization initiatives across design through construction, driving efficient project delivery.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in engineering drafting or CAD and at least 3 years of BIM experience with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360, plus strong collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Drafting, CAD, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of BIM coordination, BIM methodologies, or digital design environments.
• Experience using Autodesk solutions such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of model coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary project collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a team.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that permits employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM workflows from design through construction.
• Support engineering teams with digitalization initiatives, processes, and tools.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans and project standards.
• Facilitate BIM coordination activities across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Configure, manage, and maintain project models, datasets, and workflows.
• Provide technical support and guidance on BIM authoring tools and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, process enhancements, and value-added solutions.
• Support training, knowledge sharing, and adoption of engineering technologies.
