Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Raleigh, North Carolina is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our Grid & Power Quality Solutions team. You will coordinate BIM workflows, maintain project models, and support multidisciplinary design through construction to improve collaboration and delivery on complex energy projects.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in a related technical field, 3+ years in BIM coordination, and hands-on experience with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Drafting, CAD, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of BIM coordination experience.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM workflows and digital project information from design through construction.
• Support engineering teams with digitalization initiatives, processes, and tools.
• Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans and project standards.
• Facilitate BIM coordination activities across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Configure, manage, and maintain project models, datasets, and workflows.
• Provide technical support and guidance on BIM authoring tools and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement through innovation, process enhancements, and value-added solutions.
• Support training, knowledge sharing, and adoption of engineering technologies.
