Job summary

Leapros Skilled Trades in Greensboro, NC is seeking a BIM Specialist with hands-on electrical modeling experience to join our growing electrical construction team. You will develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models, translating drawings into accurate models and supporting field teams with constructability BIM solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical modeling experience.
• Experience with Revit and Navisworks for 3D BIM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models using Revit and Navisworks.
• Model conduit, equipment, devices, fixtures, power distribution, and electrical systems.
• Translate electrical drawings and panel schedules into 3D models.
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Create installation, hanger, sleeve, and prefabrication drawings.
• Perform clash detection and assist with multi-trade coordination.
• Support field teams with constructability-focused BIM solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models using Revit and Navisworks.
• Model conduit, equipment, devices, fixtures, power distribution, and electrical systems.
• Translate electrical drawings, one-lines, and panel schedules into accurate 3D models.
• Maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Create installation, hanger, sleeve, and prefabrication drawings.
• Perform clash detection and participate in multi-trade coordination.
• Assist with as-built models and model-based construction processes.
• Support field teams with constructability-focused BIM solutions.
