Job summary

The United Illuminating Company in Connecticut seeks a Principal Analyst for the Customer Support System to provide research and analysis of billing area requests, document requirements, and develop billing configuration models. You will coordinate with IT, Billing, Pricing and regulatory teams to implement changes, test, and train users.

You will act as SME within billing, mentor others, and promote effective processes while ensuring alignment with regulatory needs and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience with business systems (SAP highly preferred) in a billing environment.
• Ability to lead the introduction, enhancement, and maintenance of billing systems.
• Experience communicating with billing teams, internal customers, IT and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide research and analysis of billing area requests and document requirements.
• Develop billing configuration models and assess impact of proposed solutions.
• Coordinate development, testing, and implementation with IT and vendors.
• Liaise between Customer Service and IT to resolve system needs and issues.
• Create testing strategies and oversee user acceptance testing.
• Mentor others in the billing domain and promote process improvements.
