CGS is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist to join our team supporting our mission. This position involves responsibilities such as managing the e-billing and payment cycle workflow, including payment posting, charge corrections, and monthly reconciliation of payments to bank deposits. Additional duties will be assigned as needed.

Skills And Attributes For Success
  • Ensure accurate adherence to e-billing requirements and processes.
  • Prepare billing reports (monthly, semi-monthly, ad-hoc) for clients.
  • Ensure timely invoice submission based on established timelines.
  • Create and distribute operational and billing reports to management.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and Accounting Department to improve billing processes.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Supervise e-billing and receivables staff.
  • Evaluate staff skills, recommend training, and participate in hiring and performance evaluations.
  • Delegate tasks and projects appropriately.
Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and staff.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and good judgment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • At least five years of legal billing/receivables experience, with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and billing software; advanced e-billing experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Access.
