The Opportunity:

This role involves performing daily billing tasks, including:

  1. Working on failed bills/claims across all systems, including late charges, rebills, and billing reports.
  2. Reviewing and updating failed bills and claims within host systems, billing vendors, and EIQ to ensure timely billing.
  3. Resolving claim issues, including RTPs, through electronic submissions (277's).
  4. Handling late charges, rebills, and billing hardcopy claims with necessary documentation.
  5. Pulling and attaching EOBs, Medical Records, and UB's for audits, mailing, and additional billing needs.
  6. Communicating with patients, insurance companies, and third parties for billing information.
  7. Monitoring unbilled accounts and resolving errors.
  8. Assisting with SOPs, policies, flowcharts, and client implementations.
  9. Driving performance metrics such as DNFB and DNFS.
  10. Training staff and staying updated on billing regulations.
  11. Qualifications:
  • CPB Certified (Required)
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • 2 years of experience with an accredited degree or equivalent
  • Proficiency in billing across multiple payers or SME on one payer
  • Basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, typing speed of 35 WPM, and ability to conduct mock training sessions
