WIN Waste Innovations seeks a Senior Billing Specialist for its corporate office in Portsmouth, NH. This role will leverage incumbent knowledge to compile data and prepare company invoices and bills, ensuring accurate and timely billing processes.

Essential duties include data collection from purchase orders and sales tickets, invoicing, posting transactions, and supporting junior staff. The position offers strong benefits and opportunities within a growing waste-management leader.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience. 2 - 4 years previous experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, and four or more years previous experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads computer files or gathers records such as purchase orders, sales tickets, and charge slips, to compile needed data.
• Navigate external customer web sites
• Enters information into computer or computes amounts due.
• Prepares invoices, listing items or services sold, amounts due, credit terms, and dates of shipment.
• Prepares credit memorandums to indicate returned or incorrectly billed merchandise. Prepares credit forms for customers or finance companies.
• Posts relatively complex transactions to accounting records such as work sheet, ledger, or computer files.
• May provide support or direction to less experienced billing clerks.
