Job summary

Brewer Morris in New York seeks a Senior Pricing Operations professional to own end-to-end billing compliance, from client guidelines through implementation and ongoing monitoring. You will interpret billing rules, manage key client data, and coordinate with Pricing Operations, eBilling, and the Global Client Account Team to ensure accurate, timely invoices and adherence to OCGs.

This non-exempt role offers a base salary in the stated range and opportunities to influence process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or MS a plus.
• 5+ years in billing, e-billing, pricing, or related role with end-to-end ownership.
• Strong detail orientation and professional communication with partners and attorneys.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; ability to prepare partner-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Review client outside guidelines, engagement letters and policies, and summarize provisions.
• Design, implement, and maintain billing rules to ensure client-specific compliance.
• Monitor guideline updates, assess impact, and drive resolutions with minimal supervision.
• Maintain organized repositories of client guidelines and billing policies.
• Coordinate with Global Client Account Team and eBilling to ensure invoices meet requirements.
• Onboard new clients onto eBilling systems and configure client-specific needs.
• Set up matter plans with required task and activity codes; maintain them over time.
• Implement client cost constraints in the billing system for expenses and disbursements.
• Track upcoming billing deadlines and communicate them to teams for timely compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for billing compliance inquiries and escalation decisions.
• Prepare internal reports on billing activity, rejection trends, and OCG adherence.
• Lead training on OCG requirements, matter plans, cost constraints, and billing policies.
• Drive process improvement initiatives from start to finish with minimal oversight.
