Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; or 3–5 years of progressively responsible healthcare billing experience.
• 1–2 years in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity overseeing staff and workflows.
• Knowledge of medical billing, AR management, and third‑party payer requirements.
• Familiarity with behavioral health/mental health billing and payer requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily billing, follow-up, and collections activities for assigned staff.
• Ensure timely submission of claims and resolution of edits/denials.
• Monitor productivity and aging metrics to meet AR goals.
• Supervise 5–10 team members; assist with scheduling and coaching.
• Coordinate with payers and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
