URGENT CARE CLINIC PLLC in Southampton, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller for a part-time, temp-to-hire, hybrid role. You will manage AR, resolve denials, follow up on unpaid claims, and collect patient balances to keep the practice financially healthy.

Ideal candidates bring AR/billing experience, CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS knowledge, HIPAA compliance, and proficiency with EMR/billing software. The position offers a flexible schedule and a path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or billing certification preferred.
• Experience AR, denials, and rejections in medical billing.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding.

Responsibilities

• Work accounts receivable, prioritize aging claims and balances.
• Review, research, and resolve claim denials and rejections.
• Correct and resubmit denied claims in a timely manner.
• Appeal denied claims with payers when appropriate.
• Follow up with insurance on unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Identify denial trends and flag recurring issues.
• Manage patient balances, statements, and payment follow-up.
• Communicate with patients about outstanding balances and options.
• Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts; maintain HIPAA compliance
