Job summary

Pure Infusion is seeking a remote/hybrid Billing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day billing staff, submission of claims, and early follow-up activities for multiple payer lines. You will lead a team across commercial, government, and multi-state plan portfolios, ensuring accuracy, timely filing, and high clean-claim rates.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in medical billing with 2+ years in a supervisory role, strong knowledge of ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS, and experience with Waystar and payer portals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of medical billing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Expert knowledge of medical billing workflows: ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, NDC, and payer adjudication logic.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a related field; related work experience considered.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills for a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate billing staff performance with regular feedback.
• Oversee timely, accurate submission of claims to all payers within filing limits.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations; conduct regular internal audits.
• Analyze denial trends, resolve complex issues, and reduce preventable denials.
• Prepare and present monthly billing and A/R reports for management.
