Job summary

Watlow is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead proposals for engineered process heating systems across oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy transition markets. You will own each bid from RFQ receipt to award, coordinating engineering, sales, applications, operations, supply chain and finance.

The role requires reviewing RFQs, building win strategies, managing bid schedules, converting customer specs into compliant deviations, and assembling technical and commercial packages for timely

Qualifications

7+ years in industrial sales, applications, estimating or proposals, with at least 3 years leading bids for engineered-to-order equipment.
Experience bidding to EPC contractors and major oil and gas operators.
Strong understanding of commercial terms and contract risk.

Responsibilities

Review RFQs and lead go/no-go decisions.
Develop win strategies with sales and pricing approaches.
Coordinate bid schedules and kickoff meetings.
Coordinate sizing, design, and code review with applications engineering.
Prepare complete proposal packages and deviations.
Lead negotiations and support bid presentations.
Handover won projects to project management and track performance.
