Job summary

W3R Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Business Reporting Analyst to join the BMO within the Office of the CIO. The role focuses on improving and automating reporting, partnering with Finance, Accounts Payable, and Technology to deliver routine operational reports and scalable processes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in financial analysis, strong Tableau and PowerBI skills, and familiarity with ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong communication skills to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders; ability to draw out key messages from data.
• Ability to lead and coach team members.
• Local to Columbus, OH or Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage business analysis efforts for Technology.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Technology to review and create new report requests and enhancements to existing reports.
• Provide guidance and best practices while collaborating; requires strong executive presence.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with data standards.
• Facilitate meetings, presentations, and updates for senior management and other key stakeholders; lead by influencing these groups.
• Assist BMO team lead(s) by providing support and oversight to junior team members.
• Knowledge of best practices for data aggregation and report development.
• Ability to perform data validation and troubleshoot reporting anomalies.
• Act as a point of contact for the BMO, balancing efficiency with excellent customer service.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment; re-prioritize as needed.
• Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations; improve processes and reports to increase quality.
