Job summary

Teleion is seeking a BI Project Manager to lead end-to-end BI and analytics initiatives. You will work closely with data engineers and analysts, owning scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication while guiding architectural decisions and removing delivery blockers.

The role blends hands-on data pipeline understanding with strong project leadership, ensuring governance, risk management, and clear delivery plans across multiple workstreams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project/program management within BI, data, or analytics environments.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and building data pipelines, notebooks, or analytics workflows.
• Fluency in SQL with hands-on Python and cloud data platforms (AWS/Redshift or similar).
• Experience guiding BI/analytics tooling decisions or strategy (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Strong track record managing stakeholder relationships, including external clients.
• Knowledge of data governance and ETL/data integration concepts.
• Ability to quickly learn business domains and translate requirements into deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of BI/analytics projects from scoping to execution across multiple workstreams.
• Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies across concurrent initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear technical scope and delivery plans.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, surfacing risks early.
• Run PM cadences like status reports and roadmaps for a technical BI audience.
• Mentor and develop junior team members in technical and project-delivery skills.
