Job summary

Amerant Bank is seeking a data scientist to transform raw data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making in banking. You will build dashboards and automate reporting using approved BI tools, delivering clear visualizations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in statistics, CS, data science or related field.
SAS or Python/R certification is required or preferred.
4–5 years in predictive modeling, data mining and BI.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations across BI tools.
Develop and deploy descriptive and predictive models for financial insights.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity and security across platforms.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and business users to drive data-driven decisions.
Lead or support cross-functional projects and ad hoc analyses.
