Job summary

First American in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Senior BI professional to translate business needs into scalable reporting, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that support decision-making. You will connect data across systems, develop dashboards, and govern reporting assets to enable a cohesive data environment.

As part of Finance Management, you will partner with Operations, Technology, and other departments to standardize metrics and data sources, driving efficiency and insight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of directly related BI experience.
• Advanced BI and data visualization, SQL and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Execute the division’s Reporting and Data Strategy with BI and AI-enabled solutions.
• Participate in full solution lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing and deployment.
• Design dashboards, datasets, models, queries, and analytical tools.
• Understand data environments, connect data across systems, optimize reporting.
• Govern reporting assets and lifecycle, ensure standards and data quality.
• Evaluate requests, consolidate/report optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Technology and other departments.
• Translate business requirements into technical requirements for delivery.
• Establish and maintain consistent metrics and sources of truth.
• Identify automation and AI opportunities to improve reporting.
• Monitor data integrations, quality, and production performance.
• Document data sources, calculations, and business logic.
