Job summary

PetSmart is seeking a Sr. BI Developer to support Store Operations & Services from the Phoenix Home Office. You will deliver data-driven insights, translate requirements into BI solutions, and partner with IS and business teams to drive operational efficiencies across the store network.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong analytical skills, and experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot. A hybrid work model with in-office presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field and 3+ years in finance or analytical reporting.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, measure, analyze, implement and control a portfolio of Store Operations reporting.
• Influence leaders and align with directors to improve delivery and operations.
• Lead user acceptance testing for BI reporting metrics and resolve data errors.
• Translate business needs into reporting solutions via data stack, ETL and outputs.
• Develop enterprise-ready reporting with cross-functional IS and business teams.
• Create visualizations and UI applications from standard data.
• Collaborate on roadmap and vision for reporting solutions.
