Job summary

Aspire General Insurance Services is seeking an experienced Claims BI/Litigation Supervisor to lead Bodily Injury and Litigation claims teams. You will coach, guide, and oversee adjusters, ensuring efficient handling and regulatory compliance across high-volume claims.

Experience in BI, UM/UIM BI, and litigated files is essential. The role involves oversight of settlements, vendor management, and performance coaching to meet team goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Property & Casualty claims experience.
• Bodily Injury claims
• Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury claims
• Litigated claims
• Property Damage claims
• Strong understanding of insurance industry practices, regulations, and claim handling standards.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and claims management systems.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, coaching, and technical direction to BI/Litigation adjusters.
• Lead team meetings and conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions.
• Assist with recruiting, training, onboarding, and developing top claims talent.
• Support performance management and achievement of team goals.
• Approve employee timecards and monitor productivity.
• Review claims for coverage, liability, reserve adequacy, and handling quality.
• Evaluate BI and UMBI exposures and negotiate strategies.
• Approve settlements and claim payments within authority.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Conduct reserve reviews and adjust reserves when appropriate.
• Monitor litigated claims for timely handling and resolution.
• Review legal and vendor invoices and authorize payments.
• Monitor filing deadlines and litigation-related activities.
• Assist with quarterly Litigation Calibration reporting.
• Authorize use of approved vendors and experts.
• Assist with claim assignments and workload distribution.
• Monitor aging claims and escalated concerns.
• Provide training on systems and tools including DocuSign, ISO Claim Search.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
