Job summary

LA Insurance is seeking an experienced Bodily Injury Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and resolve BI claims arising from auto accidents and other incidents. This role requires strong liability assessment, medical evaluation, policy interpretation, and negotiation skills.

The BI Adjuster will collaborate with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and internal teams to ensure proper claim resolution while staying compliant with state and federal laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience handling bodily injury claims.
• Licensing: Adjuster license in the state of Nevada.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in claims management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, legal principles, and insurance policies related to bodily injury claims.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze bodily injury claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Review medical records, accident reports, and legal documents to assess injury severity and claim value.
• Communicate with claimants, attorneys, and medical professionals to gather information and settlements.
• Evaluate and negotiate settlements in accordance with company policies and industry’s best practices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed claim documentation.
• Stay current with relevant state and federal laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including underwriting and legal, to ensure thorough claims handling.
