Job summary

TransMedics is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to mine, analyze, and organize data from multiple sources. You will design automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analyses to support decision-making across Transplant Logistics, collaborating with Product, Finance, Logistics, Clinical, and Tech teams.

You will build KPI-focused dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and QuickSight, leveraging advanced SQL and Python to address complex logistics challenges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Advanced SQL skills and Python scripting.
• Experience with large multi-TB datasets.
• Experience building KPIs and automated dashboards.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight).
• Expert Excel skills including VBA/macros and pivot charts.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ML, relational DBs, Python, and geospatial data.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Mine, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources to reveal actionable insights with statistical rigor.
• Develop dashboards and metrics, including QuickSight dashboards for visibility into logistics performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, Logistics, Clinical, and Tech to gather requirements and drive analytics projects.
• Investigate and implement new big data technologies to automate Transplant Logistics needs.
• Support the design of the NOP logistics network.
• Perform other tasks as required.
