Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a senior data analytics engineer to support eligibility feeds, dashboard development, automation, and custom reporting for internal and external customers. You will gather business requirements for analytics requests, design and develop BI solutions using Tableau and Alteryx, and present outputs to leadership while coaching junior developers.

Qualifications

5+ years in data analytics, dashboarding, data profiling and data management.
Experience with automation tools and APIs for data integration.
Strong SQL and ETL experience; proficient in Excel and data visualization.

Responsibilities

Lead gathering and evaluating business analytics requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
Design, develop, deploy and support custom data solutions including APIs and interfaces.
Develop sustainable BI solutions: dashboards, scorecards, workflows and data visualizations.
Create and optimize SQL scripts and database queries for measures and metrics.
Collaborate with Product and IT to ensure BI integrates with platforms.
Anticipate customer needs and drive new BI solutions with data-driven insights.
Build relationships with data partners and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Guide Application Developers on database and workflow design and review work for correctness.
Upgrade data schemas and prepare design docs and specs.
Develop scalable data warehousing, dimensional modelling and analytics delivery.
