Job summary

Franklin Templeton seeks a Lead BI Engineer to drive the design, development, optimization, and governance of enterprise BI solutions. You will lead delivery of high-impact BI products including Power BI dashboards, semantic models, certified datasets, and self-service reporting capabilities.

The role combines strong technical skills with business partnership, delivery ownership, and influence across teams, with a hybrid schedule in Baltimore, MD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or enterprise reporting.
• Architecting Visualization/Enterprise BI platform solutions and data visualization best practices.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of dimensional modelling, KPI design, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise BI solutions, including dashboards, semantic models, and self-service reporting products.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, translate requirements, and deliver actionable insights.
• Establish BI standards for metric definitions, report certification, documentation, and access controls.
• Mentor BI developers and collaborate across data engineering, analytics, and platform teams.
