Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to shape data from our Databricks platform into trusted, well-documented data products for self-service analytics. You will own data quality, delivery timeliness, cost, and governance across 25+ payers and 10+ data domains, enabling secure, cross-tool access for Power BI, Tableau, and more.

Qualifications

3+ years in BI/analytics engineering or data engineering with cross-functional teams.
3+ years SQL and data modeling (window functions, CTEs, star schemas).
3+ years experience with Tableau or Power BI, including publishing and performance tuning.
3+ years building governed data sources or semantic layers.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain reporting-ready data models and metrics in Databricks.
Build dashboards for data quality, timeliness, SLA attainment and cost.
Publish certified datasets; maintain the data dictionary; train users.
Define data exposure controls and governance standards.
Evaluate BI tools and lead migrations.
Tune queries and manage BI assets across environments.
Collaborate with domain teams to collect requirements.
