Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to shape data from our Databricks platform for impactful analysis. You will own data quality, delivery timeliness, and governance, building trusted data products for tools like Power BI and Tableau.

The role emphasizes scalable data models, self-service enablement, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver secure, accurate insights across health care domains. Remote in the US is possible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data engineering with enterprise dashboards and data models.
• 3+ years coding in SQL and data modeling with dimensional modeling skills.
• 3+ years with at least one enterprise BI platform (Tableau or Power BI).
• 3+ years building semantic layers (Power BI/ Tableau data sources, dbt).
• 3+ years on cloud data platforms (Databricks or similar).
• 3+ years in data governance with access controls and PHI/PII handling.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain reporting-ready dimensional models and metrics in Databricks.
• Build dashboards for data quality, delivery timeliness, SLA attainment, and cost.
• Publish certified datasets and maintain the data dictionary for self-service analytics.
• Define governance and guardrails for BI data exposure and access controls.
• Evaluate BI tools and lead migrations to new platforms when needed.
• Tune queries, manage warehouse usage, and ensure reliable BI assets.
