Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join the ADS team in Austin, TX. You will design, develop and optimize data pipelines, dashboards and reports to support senior leadership with strategic insights.

You will work with large, multi-TB data sets across AWS Infrastructure, applying SQL, Python and ETL skills to deliver automated reporting and actionable metrics. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience as Data Analyst/Engineer/BI Analyst or related role for 5+ years.
• 1+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience.
• 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources.
• 1+ years of performing statistical analysis.
• 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience.
• Experience with data science concepts and data mining.
• Scripting with Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated reporting systems and dashboards.
• Apply deep analytic and BI skills to extract meaningful insights from large data sets.
• Be hands-on with ETL to build data pipelines for automated reporting.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams to provide actionable insights.
• Build data visualizations to tell the story of trends, patterns and outliers.
• Adopt best practices in reporting, data integrity, testing, validation and documentation.
