Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II to join our team. You will design and build scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools to support AWS Infrastructure Services decisions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights that inform strategy and operations. The role requires strong analytics, data engineering, and BI skills, with exposure to master data management and data governance.

Qualifications

• End-to-end supply chain domain experience spanning planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and procurement.
• Experience designing automated data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes at scale.
• Experience implementing master data management frameworks for data governance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with internal program and product owners, engineering teams to improve distribution and Supply Chain Management Systems Data.
• Apply deep analytic and business intelligence skills to extract meaningful insights and learning from large and complicated data sets.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL, Python, and AWS big data technologies.
• Design and implement master data management frameworks with data governance and data quality standards.
• Enhance analytical maturity by incorporating predictive analytics and optimization techniques where appropriate.
• Oversee and improve internal customer experience, production operations, including optimizing data delivery and release management.
• Establish and maintain best practices for data integration solutions and documentation.
