Job summary

Follett Higher Education is a leading provider of educational services and omnichannel retail solutions. The Lead Business Intelligence Engineer will design and implement data analytics solutions to enable data-driven decisions, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable BI capabilities.

Responsibilities include building end-to-end data pipelines, developing semantic layers, and creating dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
7+ years designing and implementing end-to-end data analytics solutions.
Experience designing semantic layers for BI/Analytics consumption.
Strong ETL/data pipelines experience.
Experience developing actionable reports and dashboards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; translate data to solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration with business and technical teams.
Experience in project management and Agile methodologies.
Cloud experience (Azure and Google Cloud) a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and implement end-to-end scalable analytics solutions (Azure, SQL Server, Power BI).
Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to capture requirements.
Create data dictionaries, mappings, and functional designs.
Profile data to identify quality issues and coordinate resolution.
Stay current with industry trends and evaluate new technologies.
Assist in project planning, estimating efforts, and timelines.
