Job summary

Central Bank in Urbandale, IA, or Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to design and maintain reporting, data, and BI solutions that illuminate operations and performance. You will turn data from across the Bank into accessible information and work with multiple departments to improve reporting and decision-making.

The role requires extensive BI experience, SQL development, data integration, and a strong grasp of data governance and security.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of experience in business intelligence, SQL development, data development, analytics or similar duties.
Advanced experience developing reports, dashboards and data solutions using Microsoft Power BI and SQL.
Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, database development and data integration.
Strong understanding of data visualization, reporting and BI development practices.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric or similar technologies preferred.
Banking or financial services experience preferred.
Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards and other BI tools that support Bank operations and decision-making.
Work with departments to translate reporting needs into practical data solutions.
Analyze data to identify trends, variances, opportunities and information for Bank leaders.
Establish meaningful measures and reporting to monitor performance.
Ensure reports and dashboards are understandable and useful for the audience.
Research discrepancies and resolve issues affecting information accuracy.
