Premier Bankcard in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a data engineer to design and optimize data workflows, pipelines, and infrastructure powering BI reporting and analytics. You will collaborate with BI developers, IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, timely data solutions that support compliance and operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes translating business needs into technical requirements, building enterprise datasets, and maintaining ETL processes.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with 2-4 years experience preferred.
• Knowledge of credit card systems is helpful.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel and BI tools.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Snowflake, Tidal and AWS cloud is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize data workflows, pipelines and infrastructure for BI reporting, financial analytics and IT performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with BI developers, analysts and IT teams to deliver governed data solutions.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for data solutions.
• Build and maintain enterprise datasets with data engineers and analysts.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to load data into the data warehouse.
• Perform UAT on data-related projects and coordinate code changes to production.
• Monitor reporting infrastructure and resolve data-related issues.
