Job summary

Central Bank in Urbandale, IA, or Sioux Falls, SD, seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to design and maintain BI reporting, data models and ETL/ELT processes. You will work with multiple departments to deliver reliable data solutions and advance reporting capabilities.

The role requires 8+ years in BI, strong Power BI and SQL skills, and experience with data modeling and data integration within a banking context. Location is on-site at Urbandale or Sioux Falls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years in BI, SQL, data development or analytics.
• Advanced experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data integration experience.
• Strong BI development and data visualization practices.
• Experience with SQL Server, SSRS, Snowflake or similar tech preferred.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and BI tools for operations and decision-making.
• Translate department needs into practical data solutions.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for bank leadership.
• Ensure reports are understandable and useful for intended audiences.
• Maintain data connections, models and processes for reliability.
• Monitor data processes, integrations and reporting performance.
• Support system implementations and upgrades affecting reporting.
