Job summary

Cognizant seeks an Engagement Delivery Manager – BI & Data Transformation in Houston to lead enterprise BI, analytics, and data modernization programs. You will partner with client executives and delivery teams to enable data-driven decision-making and measurable business outcomes.

You will drive end-to-end delivery across BI, data engineering, AI/ML, and cloud platforms, managing governance, budgets, risk, and stakeholder communications. Hybrid work with four days in-office is required.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of overall IT experience.
• 6+ years leading IT projects or enterprise delivery engagements.
• 3+ years managing BI, analytics, or data transformation programs.
• Proven client-facing delivery leadership and consulting experience.
• Experience with BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau) and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT delivery and operational partner for client leaders.
• Translate reporting requirements into roadmaps, delivery plans, and solutions.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of BI, data analytics, AI/ML, and cloud data initiatives.
• Oversee governance, scope, financial performance, resources, risk, and reporting.
• Manage cross-functional teams including BI developers and data engineers.
• Drive enterprise reporting using Power BI, Tableau, and cloud analytics.
• Establish quality standards, sprint planning, and release management.
• Promote data governance, security, and analytics optimization.
