Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Sr Business Systems Analyst to translate complex business needs into data-driven BI solutions. The role partners with business and IT teams to improve reporting, data warehousing, and operational efficiency across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements analysis, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration, and will drive BRDs/FRDs, testing, and documentation within a remote-in-CA environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years progressive experience in business requirements analysis and data analysis are key success factors.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business needs into data-driven solutions across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to improve reporting and data warehousing.
• Document BRDs and FRDs for conversions, interfaces and reports.
• Lead joint business/IT requirement discussions and stakeholder reviews.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement through data analytics.
• Coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams during design and development.
• Assist users in defining use cases and test scripts; execute test plans.
• Create process and training documentation; support operational readiness.
