Everforth Apex is hiring a Data Engineer to lead Power BI semantic modeling and BigQuery-based data engineering. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable data models and dashboards, ensuring high-quality, governance-aligned outputs.

The role emphasizes BI optimization, complex SQL, and end-to-end data visualization delivery within an agile analytics team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Business Intelligence experience with Power BI.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with Google BigQuery.
• Expert semantic model design capabilities, including DAX, M-Query, star and snowflake schemas.
• Experience gathering requirements directly from business users and documenting logic and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, KPIs, and data sources.
• Design and maintain enterprise Power BI semantic models and dashboards.
• Develop optimized BigQuery SQL and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, with upstream data transformations.
• Lead UAT, documentation, and user training; ensure data quality and governance.
