Job summary

Paychex is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Leader to drive advanced analytics projects with strategic impact across the organization. You will manage processes and coordinate with Directors and VPs, serving as an SME in your area and guiding cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading quantitative research, extracting data from internal systems, and publishing financial insights that shape decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 6 years of experience in data warehousing, data mining, or analytical environment.
• Experience with SQL, VBA, or Business Objects.
• Technical experience with databases and data warehousing concepts/tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes quantitative research projects by defining business problems and delivering insights to leadership.
• Retrieves and analyzes data from systems; develops financial reports to support decisions.
• Builds dashboards and visual tools to help management understand trends quickly.
• Leads team members and provides oversight on engagements and project completion.
• Engages in initiatives related to product, process improvements, or due diligence for acquisitions.
