Job summary

Mathematica is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to design and deliver scalable BI and data solutions. You will work with Power BI and Tableau, build data models and pipelines, and provide technical leadership across projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on senior engineering, mentorship, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has deep BI expertise, strong SQL skills, and experience with AWS data services.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of production BI or data engineering experience.
• Expertise in Power BI or Tableau; able to deploy complex BI solutions.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with AWS data services and data pipelines.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
• Create dimensional models and semantic models for analytics.
• Build and maintain production data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Optimize BI performance and diagnose bottlenecks across data stack.
• Lead technical design discussions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams on BI solutions.
• Mentor developers and establish best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability.
