Job summary

SunSource is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models. You will collaborate with business and tech leaders to support Sales, Operations, and Shared Services, advancing BI architecture and data modeling.

The role emphasizes transforming data into actionable analytics, creating scalable semantic models, and delivering clear insights through compelling visuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years designing and developing BI reports and data models in Power BI.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of data, BI/analytics, reporting platforms and data visualization.
• Experience in Manufacturing or Distribution industry with KPI knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a medium to large organization.
• Willingness to work flexible hours; limited travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Own the data available within the Reporting environment and explain data capabilities to stakeholders.
• Meet with subject matter experts to learn business concepts and data needs.
• Transform data into insight; design Power BI UX, visualizations, reports and dashboards.
• Develop and test BI solutions; ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and use Databricks data for reporting models.
• Create and maintain documentation and user manuals for BI assets.
