Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in the United States is seeking a Sr. BI Data & Reporting Developer to lead the design, development, and modernization of analytics for supply chain operations.

You will transform enterprise data into actionable insights, focusing on self-service analytics, automation, and scalable reporting assets. You will partner with business, product, and technical teams to deliver resilient analytics, establish data standards, and mentor a small team while ensuring production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or Applied Data Analytics.
• 5-7 years experience in recommending and creating visualizations and self-service tools based on available data.
• Querying information directly from Databricks using IBM Cognos and SQL.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for business users.

Responsibilities

• Lead data models and semantic structures for business-facing reporting.
• Design dashboards and reports aligned to analytics standards.
• Mentor junior developers and lead citizen developer initiatives.
• Manage analytics backlog and coordinate with product and supply chain.
• Collaborate to evaluate new analytics capabilities and pilots.
