Job summary

Ascend Learning is hiring a Senior BI Analyst to design and deliver advanced Tableau dashboards, translate business needs into scalable BI solutions, and mentor the BI team. You will work with Snowflake/EDW data, optimize datasets, and present insights to leadership.

The role supports a hybrid schedule from our Burlington, MA or remote US locations, with strong collaboration across healthcare operations and analytics teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Expert-level Tableau experience with complex LOD calculations and advanced interactions.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SSMS.
• Experience with Snowflake and enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Experience with Agile environments and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced, modern Tableau dashboards with best-practice UI/UX design, interactivity, and performance optimization.
• Work with business partners to translate analytical needs into scalable BI solutions.
• Use Snowflake, EDW structures, and SSMS to prepare, optimize, and validate datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Provide clear data insights to stakeholders at all levels to enable informed decisions.
• Coach and mentor BI team members in Tableau, data modeling, and analytical methodology.
• Oversee and enhance custom reporting capabilities for quality and scalability.
• Act as SME in data ingestion, cleansing, modeling, and visualization techniques.
