Job summary

Wesco in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Senior Analyst - Business Intelligence to drive end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions. You will bridge business needs with BI development, lead BRDs, define KPIs, validate data quality, and guide UAT to ensure solutions meet objectives.

You will own reporting lifecycle from intake to deployment, build mockups, and collaborate with Enterprise Applications, Data Engineers, and BI Developers to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Collect and analyze data pertaining to the SBU, including national and local market size, customer behavior, competitive advantages, and overall SBU business performance.
• Execute regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, scorecards, and presentations to support business leaders and key stakeholders.
• Build detailed presentations including data analysis reports, visualizations, charts, graphs, industry evaluations, and performance metrics using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders to develop comprehensive BRDs.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business processes supported by reports and dashboards and ensure reporting solutions align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Own the reporting lifecycle from business intake through production deployment.
• Create initial report and dashboard mockups, wireframes, and visual representations for stakeholder alignment.
• Identify, document, and validate Data Integrity and Data Quality rules during requirements and development.
• Review reporting workfiles and dashboards before UAT to validate data and logic.
• Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing activities with business stakeholders.
