Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer based in Tucson, Arizona to support Battery Energy Storage Systems projects. You will work on designs, evaluations, and technical reports that shape how energy is stored and utilized, while coordinating closely with other engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a Professional Engineer license and at least 10 years of relevant experience. This full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package, promoting a culture of ownership and success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design of Battery Energy Storage Systems or power generation.
• Strong computer skills and ability to analyze technical data related to battery energy storage systems.
• Experience adhering to National Electrical Code and other relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems projects and develop engineering design plans.
• Evaluate energy storage technologies and support clients in implementation.
• Conduct quality assurance on work done by electrical engineers and provide technical support.
