Job summary

Berry Operations at BERRIES NORTHWEST, LLC seeks an experienced Senior Produce Sales Representative to lead sales and business development for our fresh and processed berry operations. The role focuses on growing sales, managing key customer relationships, developing new markets, negotiating contracts, and leading the sales team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of produce sales or related agricultural sales experience.
• Experience selling to large retail accounts (Costco, Walmart, Albertsons, ALDI’s, Publix, etc.).
• Experience selling fresh produce, preferably berries or specialty crops.
• Established relationships within the produce industry.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with large-volume sales contracts and pricing.
• Understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability.
• Domestic and international sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and produce buyers.
• Develop new domestic and international sales opportunities.
• Sell fresh and processed berry products.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and large-volume sales agreements.
• Monitor produce markets, pricing, margins, and customer demand.
• Identify new customers and business opportunities.
• Lead and support the sales team.
• Coordinate with shipping, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the season.
• Help develop sales strategies that maximize volume and profitability.
