Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking a Senior Benefits and Wellness Manager to lead the strategy, design, administration, and compliance of our benefit programs. You will partner with the HR team to attract and retain talent while ensuring cost-effective plans and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing medical, dental, disability, life, and retirement offerings; overseeing open enrollment; coordinating with plan vendors; and ensuring ERISA adherence and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of benefits/HR experience; 3 years leading a benefits function or in a consulting/outsource firm.
• Knowledge of health/retirement benefits design, regulatory environment, wellness initiatives, and marketplace trends.
• Proven ability to manage external vendors with contracts and RFP processes.
• Ability to design, communicate, measure, and monitor benefits and wellness programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills for handling sensitive and confidential situations.
• Ability to resolve escalated benefits issues and interpret plan documents.

Responsibilities

• Partner to develop and implement new health and welfare initiatives; promote a wellness culture and optimize healthcare costs.
• Manage day-to-day plan offerings: medical, dental, disability, life, and other benefits.
• Work with HR leadership to design annual benefits program packages and present to senior management.
• Handle fiduciary duties, ERISA compliance, regulatory reporting (e.g., Forms 5500, ACA).
• Oversee vendor relations; ensure plan administration aligns with documents and laws (ERISA/IRS).
• Lead open enrollment communications and materials; update Summary Plan Descriptions.
