Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in Benefits and/or HR with leadership exposure.
• Strong understanding of health and welfare programs and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing vendors, RFPs, and cost containment initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, design, administration, and compliance of benefit programs.
• Manage day-to-day plan offerings: medical, dental, disability, life insurance, etc.
• Develop annual benefits program package with senior management for design changes.
• Oversee fiduciary duties, ERISA/IRS compliance, and regulatory reporting (e.g., Forms 5500, ACA).
• Manage external vendors and enrollment providers; coordinate system updates.
• Lead annual open enrollment, including communications and documentation updates.
• Create and distribute employee benefits communications during and outside Open Enrollment.
• Monitor costs and effectiveness; identify opportunities to reduce costs.
