Job summary

OneDigital is seeking a Senior Benefits Consultant to retain clients and drive renewal strategy across a large, self-funded book of business. You will lead benefit design, financial analysis, and service delivery while communicating industry trends to active clients.

You will manage a portfolio of 500+ employee organizations, oversee onboarding, and collaborate with client services to ensure exceptional outcomes. Strong Excel skills and licensing required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing up-market clients (500+ employees).
• 7+ years of benefits consulting experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of HealthCare Reform and related products.
• Practical knowledge of quoting processes and tools.
• Ability to influence C-suite and communicate value propositions.

Responsibilities

• Develops benefit design and renewal strategies for complex client issues.
• Collaborates with account management on pre-renewal strategy and RFPs.
• Defines full service scope and communicates timelines to teams.
• Balances revenue and profitability across client accounts and projects.
• Monitors project scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
• Oversees onboarding of new clients and implementation plans.
• Grows book through cross-selling and strong client-carrier relationships.
• Maintains compliance knowledge of HIPAA, ERISA, PPACA and related laws.
