Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency in Dallas, Texas seeks a Sr. Benefits Account Manager responsible for marketing and servicing accounts, analyzing coverage, and recommending lines of coverage while mentoring others.

You will lead client service plans, manage renewals, foster carrier relationships, and support Producers on complex accounts; travel may be required.

A bachelor's degree and five years in insurance, plus licenses, are required; advanced degree or RFP experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training
• Five years of relevant insurance industry experience
• Appropriate insurance license(s)
• Strong client relation skills and service orientation
• Leadership and training abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email and in person
• Execute a comprehensive client service plan for all assigned accounts
• Lead the client service team in service activities related to administration, billing, claims issues and problem solving
• Coordinate internal/external activities to ensure accounts are handled timely and accurately
• Continually seek cross-sell opportunities and suggest new lines of coverage
• Monitor and manage renewals and prepare presentations for clients
• Lead marketing of accounts and independently prepare marketing information for options
• Mentor team members
