Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Employee Benefits Analyst to join our growing team. This role leads analytical work for public sector clients, delivering advanced financial analysis, strategic reporting, and data-driven insights across complex benefit programs.

You will mentor Analysts and collaborate with consultants to drive compliant and sustainable benefit decisions. You will manage renewal analyses, RFP processes, and carrier evaluations, translating financial and claims data into

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, analytics, brokerage, or consulting.
• Advanced experience with renewal and financial analysis.
• Experience with claims data, utilization reporting, and RFP processes.
• Knowledge of fully insured and self-funded benefit plans and related regulations (ACA, COBRA).
• Public sector experience preferred; State 2-15 License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex renewal analyses across lines of coverage, including non‑marketed plans.
• Evaluate claims experience, utilization trends, and financial performance to identify risks and cost drivers.
• Develop data-driven recommendations to support long-term benefits planning and funding strategies.
• Lead RFP development and carrier evaluations; participate in carrier negotiations.
• Deliver advanced financial and management reporting; present findings to client staff and leadership.
• Mentor Analysts; ensure accuracy and quality of client deliverables.
